Jessica Cochran

Independent Curator and Consultant

Jessica Cochran is an independent curator and collections consultant specializing in contemporary art acquisitions, research, exhibitions, and management for a broad range of clients and collaborators. Recent curated exhibitions include The Heart of the Matter (Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, Chicago) and Pulp as Portal (Center for the Book, New York/Salina Art Center, Kansas). She is concurrently Interim Director of Finance and Operations at the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago and a Lecturer in the Department of Arts Administration and Policy at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

 

Cochran is open to reviewing a variety of work. She is also interested in conceptual photography that engages with issues of representation and process.
